Up, Up, and Away
So this last weekend I went and saw the movie Up with my roommates and I loved it! I'm a sucker for dollar movies because even when they sound ridiculous, most of them turn out to be decent movies and worth the money. I hadn't really heard much about it, but it had everything that a great movie needs. It was romantic, hilarious in so many different parts, adventurous, a little bit sad, clean, and quite imaginative. I recommended it to all my friends and family and I quote it all the time! I love a good movie and the entertainment it brings. I have to admit, the movies I like the most are the ones that make me laugh out loud and this for sure is one of them! :)

I just wanted to say that I am so glad you posted this because I have been wanting to see UP but, like you, I have no idea what its about. My hubby and I are going to go see it tonight actually. It is nice when you someone can truly recommend a movie to you so you know you won't be walking out of it half way through (not that this was one I was worried about walking out of). I think this assignment might be helpful in helping me enjoy media more because i will be able to find more good things out there!
ReplyDeleteYes, I am in complete agreement with you. UP is a great movie. I think another great thing was that it had a few very positive messages. I'm refreshed by movies like UP, because it is evidence of the media's potential for goodness!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the part in the movie when the little boy ran into the forest with a shovel and a leaf ...haha, that was funny...
UP is a great movie, and it always feels good to see a great movie at the dollar theater....It makes you feel like you got a really good bargain.:)
ReplyDeleteI never saw this movie!! I'm sad about it; I'll just have to catch it @ Redbox in a few weeks. It is awesome when a nice family movie comes out, and you don't have to worry about the content-or, as one woman said to me, "the poo in the brownies"!
